ASSET is a member of the
Astronomical League!
Asset members are encouraged to participate in the Observing Programs offered by the Astronomical League.
| We are a friendly group of amateur astronomers from the Golden Triangle in Texas, including Jefferson, Hardin, Jasper, Newton, and Orange counties. We meet indoors on the second Friday of each month at 7:00 pm at Odom Academy in Beaumont. If you have an interest in astronomy, come check us out! Visitors are always welcome! | If you would like more information, we would be pleased to hear from you! We meet under dark skies at least once a month, weather permitting. On the Saturday closest to the first quarter moon, we meet at Claiborne West Park located between Vidor and Orange. This is a great place to enjoy the night skies away from city lights. |
