We are a friendly group of amateur astronomers from the Golden Triangle in Texas, including Jefferson, Hardin, Jasper, Newton, and Orange counties.
We meet indoors on the second Friday of each month at 7:00 pm at Odom Academy in Beaumont. If you have an interest in astronomy, come check us out!
Visitors are always welcome!
If you would like more information, we would be pleased to hear from you! | | We meet under dark skies twice a month, weather permitting.
On the Saturday closest to the first quarter moon, we meet at Claiborne West Park located between Vidor and Orange. This is a great place to enjoy the night skies away from city lights.
On the Saturday closest to the new moon, we meet in Colmesneil, Texas. While a bit further to travel, you will enjoy some of the darkest skies in southeast Texas! |
