
The Astronomical Society of Southeast Texas (also known as ASSET) is a non-profit organization. We are a friendly group of amateur astronomers from the Golden Triangle in Texas, including Jefferson, Hardin, Jasper, Newton, and Orange counties.
We are EATING BEFORE THE MEETING at Chili’s in Beaumont at 5:15pm. You are invited!

We will meet at the Murray J. Frank Planetarium for the January 13, 2012 meeting
starts at 7:00 pm, visitors are welcome!

Odom Academy or the Murry J. Frank Planetarium in Beaumont

Visitors are always welcome to join us at meetings and star parties!
-On the Saturday closest to the first quarter moon, we meet at Claiborne West State Park. This is a great place to enjoy the night skies away from city lights.
-On the Saturday closest to the new moon, we meet near Hillister, Texas. A little further out of the city and some of the best skies in East Texas!
